Downloading Movies from YouTube

When watching movies from www.youtube.com and other sites, you may want to see them again. But if movie is quite big, it is sheer wastage of bandwidth.
This is very simple. You need two tools to accomplish this. After experience you can do with one only. The tools are Process Monitor (procmon.exe) from Sysinternals Suit(Download Here) and Unlocker (Download Here). Download and unzip Sysinternals Suit and install Unlocker.
Go to the site from where you want to view movie allow it to run. After it starts fire Process Monitor.
Filter it for you web browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox etc).

Watch what files they are accessing. The movie is usually in FLV format and has name of the form fla*.*.
Once you find the movie let it download completely (after it finishes its run), then pop up run box (Press Windows + R keys). In Run box type %temp%.
Once Explorer window opens, right click on the movie file (the one you identified in Process Monitor). From context menu choose Unlock.

Note:- if there are more than one movies you can guess the one you want by the size of the file, which is directly proportional to movie run time :-)

In the unlocker dialog choose copy or move (what ever you want, but don't choose move if you are playing it).

It will show you Save File dialog, choose location and file name (you may also want to change extension to flv) and click save. You will get success or error message from Unlocker indicating the outcome of the operation.
Happy Viewing.

PS:-There are numerous other ways to accomplish this but this is my favorite, so I decided to share it.
